Try elevating your legs for a few minutes during and after workouts. This is an old technique used by track and field athletes to refresh and revitalize themselves by preventing tired blood filled with lactic acid (muscle waste product) from pooling in the legs. This can also prevent next day muscle soreness and unnecessary injuries. Remember to oxygenate (recharge) yourself by taking slow deep breathes through and open mouth as you do this exercise. To help pump the tired blood out of your legs try pointing your toe first away and then towards you several times while in this position.
